I seek for shelter, southwards
From the human's creation of destruction
But the light breeze carries all hope
Into the gentle fog,
Hiding the Sun.

Outside, the distant sounds of
Traffic and life converge into
One single, pleasant background murmur.
The pond next door is oozing with sound.

In the box, I wait for
Good news; Bad news;
No news.
The pipe organ, only affirming
What I already know.

Like the soil of life,
It becomes buried within it, and forgotten,
Washed away, dug up again.
And again.
Again.

Life is too massive.
And yet, from up here, the world is masked;
So insignificant.

How would it feel for life to come
Crashing;
Tumble down.
Made small, to minute shatters,
In a matter of seconds.

Tranquility interrupted by a jealous mind, life overcome by the grief of the ending, celebratory drinks for a lost occasion, a mind full of black, the tainted, dirty white.
